This standard specifies the compressed data format and decoding process for VC-3 compressed video data.VC-3 supports high definition YCbCr video data in both 8-bit and 10-bit sampling depths for 4:2:2 sampling of1920x1080 and 1280x720 video rasters.VC-3 is an intra-frame compression format, with compressed bitrates from 36 Mbps (at 1080/24p) to 220Mbps (at 1080/60i). The standard does not specify the encoding process.
